Every now and then, there are songs which expresses the passion of love in words which time and time again has proved that true love means worship nothing else.

One of the songs which i want to talk about is Sun mere humsafar. There is so much i can talk about the beautiful lyrics of this song, but as of now there is this one stanza i want to share:

Hai nahi tha pata
Ke tujhe maan lunga khuda

If you have someone in your life who loves you to this extent, don’t leave him/her, don’t leave him/her please 🙏🏼. For sure, this love is rare to find in today’s ever changing world!

Now let me take you back in time to a very old song which describes the same thing in yet again such beautiful words. This stanza is from a very popular golden era song, Hum tere pyaar me saara aalam kho baithe hai

Do check the lyrics of this beautiful song from Ed Sheeran, Photograph. I love to dig deep in the meanings of various songs and i was once again mesmerized by the depth of the words in this song. This song covers so many facets of love and if you are/were in love, you will understand it better. I would have loved to copy the whole lyrics of this song, but let it rest with Google!

मेरा उजला सितारा तेरे नाम किया

This is one of those songs which has such a deep meaning. The words of this song simply describes the pain of separation, something which is so common in a love story. I was left spellbound when i had found that “Channa Mereya” means “Light of my Soul”. Some songs will remain in our memories forever and for me this is one of them!
